We do NOT use the term 'eco' as freely
as some of the companies do. The transport used in India is mostly
run by diesel and very few cars by CNG. CNG not being available out
of Delhi, hence CNG run cars are limited to Delhi only. We do not
find it correct to use the word 'ECO' in totality.
The domestic school tours organized by
us, gives an insight to the students to be eco-friendly, knowledge
of garbage separation, NO to plastics and such issues while
traveling. Our car & coach drivers are under strict supervision so
that used mineral water bottles, empty plastic bags, fruit cans etc
are disposed off in garbage cans and not left around the country
side.
Though we do speak
of 'RESPONSIBLE TOURISM' and do our bit to assist the society -
- DONATED
to the Gujarat earthquake Prime Minister's relief fund;
- DONATED
funds & material to the Orissa cyclone relief fund;
- ASSIST
Spastic Society of Northern India by obtaining our itinerary
covers, ticket folders made by recycled paper on a regular basis,
thereby giving regular work to such organizations;
- WE DO NOT
PURCHASE printed cards to wish our clients and
associates, instead use email, thereby using less paper year after
year;
- HAVE
started to co-ordinate donations from our guests & visitors to
various NGO run projects (Old Age home, Street Children,
Orphanages, Women education etc) adding to our efforts. A list of
such NGOs could be made available on request.
